IM&T team improving the GP practice experience across Greater Manchester

The GMSS IM&T team, in partnership with digital healthcare supplier Egton, have helped GP practices across Greater Manchester save over 90,000 hours a year, improving the overall patient experience.

Working on a year-long project, GMSS and Egton have installed 250 patient check-in machines in GP practices across the region. By allowing patients to check themselves in for their appointment, queues at GP reception desks are reduced and reception staff time is freed-up to spend with patients who require their assistance.
