GMSS achieves accreditation for customer service training programme

We are pleased to announce that NHS Greater Manchester Shared Services (GMSS) has successfully achieved The Institute of Customer Service TrainingMark™ accreditation, for our in-house customer service training programme - Building Customer Excellence Programme.

The achievement demonstrates our commitment to quality in customer service training for our staff and that our internally developed customer services training programme meets national standards for customer service.

Linda Gallagher, GMSS Organisation Development and Learning Lead, said: “We are delighted to achieve the TrainingMark™ accreditation that will benefit both our staff and our customers. The accreditation shows our commitment to developing our staff to deliver customer excellence.”

The Building Customer Excellence Programme will be rolled out across the organisation from January onwards, starting with IT teams. All other services will follow. A plan to implement the training to all new starters to the organisation is also under development.

Accreditation runs for 12 months and The Institute of Customer Service conduct regular quality audits to ensure consistency and credibility of the accreditation.
